At Personalised Birthday Videos (operated by Mikonia Ltd), all of our video products are custom-made and uniquely personalized based on user-submitted details, photos, and preferences.
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, special rules apply to bespoke and custom-made digital items:
- Bespoke Exemption: Because every video is uniquely customized to your specifications, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once video production has commenced, except in cases of technical defects or failure on our part to follow explicit written instructions.
1. Errors Made by Us
If we make a spelling, technical, or production error that contradicts the explicit details provided in your original order form:
- We will rectify and re-issue the corrected video free of charge as a priority, OR
- Offer a full refund to your original payment method upon request.
2. Errors Made by Customer
We are not responsible for typos, incorrect dates, incorrect pronunciation guides, or low-resolution/poor-quality photos supplied by the customer during checkout. Any re-editing required due to customer error or change of mind may be subject to an additional editing fee.
3. Express Delivery Fee Guarantees
We offer two fulfillment tiers: Standard Delivery (5 Working Days) and Express Delivery (24–48 Hours).
- If you paid the £20 Express Delivery fee and we fail to deliver your completed video within the 24–48 hour expedited timeline due to a delay on our end, the £20 Express fee will be fully refunded to your original payment method.
- In such cases, your order will automatically revert to standard production turnaround, and the core video payment remains non-refundable.
4. How to Request Assistance or Report an Issue
If there is an issue with your delivered video or you believe a production error has occurred, please contact our support team within 14 days of receiving your video link:
